Unified management model will simplify complex international roaming negotiations and partner relationships.
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM – October 13, 2026 – BICS, a Proximus Global company and leading digital communications enabler, today announced that it will manage Proximus SA’s international roaming negotiations. Effective immediately, BICS will lead these negotiations on Proximus’ behalf, creating a more unified approach to its international roaming relationships.
Roaming portfolios are becoming increasingly complex, encompassing hundreds of bilateral agreements alongside IoT, M2M, and eSIM requirements and evolving subscriber expectations. As a result, operators are increasingly turning to specialist partners to manage their roaming negotiations. Drawing on BICS’ scale, expertise and global operator network, the collaboration will allow Proximus SA to focus on delivering its Amplify 2030 strategy while supporting consistently high-quality roaming experiences for customers wherever they travel.
The agreement builds on an established collaboration through which BICS carries Proximus’ international traffic. BICS will now extend its role to lead Proximus’ commercial roaming negotiations, drawing on its specialist expertise, global presence and strong operator relationships. This “one group, one voice” approach will make partner engagement more efficient and support greater operational alignment across Proximus.
